Solution Trail Platform is a WhatsApp Business messaging application that helps you manage customer conversations. We take your privacy seriously and want to be transparent about how we handle your data.

This is an MVP (Minimum Viable Product) version of our service. We're continuously improving our security and features. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

We use your data to:

• Send and receive WhatsApp messages
• Store your conversation history so you can access it later
• Manage message templates
• Keep your account secure
• Fix bugs and improve the app

We do NOT:

• Sell your data to anyone
• Share your customer data with third parties
• Use your data for marketing purposes

4. How Long We Keep Your Data

By Default: We keep your messages and conversation history indefinitely unless you delete them.

When You Ask for Deletion: If you request that we delete your account or data, we will delete it within 30 days.

Where Your Data Is Stored: Your data is stored on servers in South Africa and/or European Union (EU) infrastructure. When you send messages, they're also briefly stored in-memory for processing.

Our Plan: As we grow beyond MVP, we plan to add encryption at rest, automated backups, and enhanced security features.

6. Your Rights

• See your data — Request a copy of all data we have about you
• Fix your data — Tell us if information is wrong and we'll correct it
• Delete your data — Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Export your data — Request your data in a downloadable format
• Withdraw consent — Change your mind anytime in your app settings

7. How to Delete Your Data

1. Email info@solutiontrail.co.za with subject: "Data Deletion Request"
2. Tell us what you want deleted:
   • Your entire account and all data
   • Specific conversations or messages
   • Data for a specific phone number
3. We'll verify you're the account owner
4. We'll delete your data within 30 days
5. You'll get confirmation when it's done

8. Meta and WhatsApp

Solution Trail Platform uses WhatsApp's Business API. By using our app, you also agree to WhatsApp's terms and privacy practices and Meta's policies.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. Your continued use of the Service following the posting of revised Privacy Policy means that you accept and agree to the changes.
